Anthony Miller, WR, Chicago Bears

DraftKings Price: $3,400

Projected Points: 5.57

Projected Value (points per $1,000): 1.64

Anthony Miller quietly led the Chicago Bears wide receivers in targets last week with seven, and it looks like he is back on track after missing a few games due to injury. Miller's usage was nice as he logged a 63% snap share and tied for a team-high 45 routes run, per Pro Football Focus.

The New York Jets' secondary has been hit with the injury bug, having cornerback Trumaine Johnson and starting slot corner Buster Skrine sidelined the past few weeks. The other starting corner, Morris Claiborne, also popped up on the injury report on Wednesday.

Attacking the Jets in the slot has been profitable, and it should continue to be that way. Last week, sixth-rounder Parry Nickerson filled in the slot, where Miller lines up most, and allowed 7 catches for 72 yards in his coverage (Pro Football Focus).

The Jets are currently ranked 8th in passing defense, per numberFire's schedule-adjusted metrics, but that does not reflect the Jets' current injury-plagued D. From a pure volume standpoint, the Jets rank as the league's worst defense versus wideouts in terms of pass attempts against (190), receptions (119) and receiving yards (1,403).

Miller is a volatile play this week, but he makes for an interesting sprinkle in GPP portfolios. The matchup looks to be in his favor, he has one of the higher target ceilings for his price range, and he could be used as an ownership pivot off of Courtland Sutton and Martavis Bryant.
