Eli Manning, QB, New York Giants

Week 4 Salary: $7,100

Week 5 Salary: $6,500

As they say, what goes up...

Eli Manning's price climbed last week in anticipation of his matchup against the New Orleans Saints. While he completed 75.6% of his passes, it was pretty much all dink-and-dunk work as the Giants couldn't find many other ways to get past a Saints defense that had previously been bleeding points.

Manning added a touchdown and threw for 255 yards, but the resulting 14.7 FanDuel points certainly wasn't enough to win you much in a week where 21 other quarterbacks outscored him. Peyton's lil' bro gets a much tougher test this week when he plays at the Carolina Panthers. As a result, it's no surprise seeing his salary fall by the biggest amount on the slate.

Carolina is giving up 19.49 FanDuel points per game to opposing quarterbacks, 12th-most in the league. That number is, however, jacked up because of a shootout in Atlanta. In their two home games, the Panthers are giving up an average of 15.39 points, which is much more in line with our projections of 14.8 for Manning this week.

There is a reason Manning's price dropped, and you should take note when building your lineups. We have only three other quarterbacks predicted for a lower output this week, so run, and don't look back.
