Calvin Ridley, WR, Atlanta Falcons

Week 3 Salary: $5,000

Week 4 Salary: $6,300

If there is one player's salary movement that needs no justification this week, it's Atlanta Falcons' rookie wide receiver Calvin Ridley.

In last week's thrilling 42-39 loss to the New Orleans Saints, the former Alabama star caught 7 passes for 146 yards and 3 scores. His final tally of 37.0 FanDuel points easily paced the position, making him one of the most attractive waiver wire options this week.

This week's game against the Cincinnati Bengals is shaping up to be another shootout. The game opened with a total of 48 points, but it has since ballooned to 53, making it the highest on the Sunday slate and only bested by Monday night's matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and Denver Broncos.

The Bengals just so happen to have the next-highest mover of the week: Tyler Boyd. Boyd had been more involved in the Bengals' offense than Ridley was in his, but like Ridley, he chose last week to have a career game. He finished with a 6-catch, 132-yard line and added a score for good measure.

While A.J. Green will play this week (he suffered a minor injury in last week's game), that won't necessarily slow down Boyd. The third-year player had already seen 14 targets in the first 2 games when Green was on the field, including 9 targets that turned into 91 yards and a touchdown against the Baltimore Ravens.

Our projections have Boyd as a better option than Ridley this week on FanDuel.
