Javorius Allen, RB, Baltimore Ravens

Javorius Allen had been the Ravens' top back heading into Week 3, leading Alex Collins in both snaps and opportunities (rushes plus targets). Even with Baltimore playing with a lead in Week 3 (but not a massive blowout like we saw in Week 1), Allen again out-snapped Collins, this time 39 to 35.

Collins did see a significant edge in opportunities (18 carries and 4 targets to 6 carries and 4 targets for Allen), but the fact that the snaps were so close, even in a Collins-friendly game script, is a good sign for Allen continuing to offer fantasy value.

Making Allen especially appealing this week is the fact that the Ravens are 3.5-point underdogs against the Steelers. Allen has a clear edge over Collins for passing-down work (six targets on third down compared to zero for Collins), so being forced to lean on the pass while playing from behind would give his volume a potential bump this week.
