A lot has been made of Case Keenum's early infatuation with Emmanuel Sanders, and, while that connection has been clicking, Demaryius Thomas has actually out-targeted Sanders 21-15 through two games. With a cheap price, especially on DraftKings, Thomas may get some traction this week, albeit in a tough matchup with the Baltimore Ravens.

Despite the favorable volume, Thomas has continued to struggle with efficiency, as he's caught only 11 of those 21 targets for a meager 81 yards. The Ravens secondary is looking to rebound after getting eviscerated by A.J. Green last Thursday night, and they've had 10 days to prepare for Thomas and the Broncos. Thomas figures to see a lot of Marlon Humphrey on the outside, a second-year corner who some think is on the verge of becoming elite.

With Denver projected for only 19.5 points and on the road, we can steer clear of Thomas and look to his teammate Sanders if you believe in this passing attack this week. Emmanuel gets the much better matchup with Tavon Young in the slot. Either way, there will be more opportune times to play Thomas than this week against the Ravens. Put a circle around October 1st and October 28th on your calendar, as that's when he gets to run wild against the hapless Chiefs' defense.
