The Los Angeles Rams are a massive 13.0-point favorite against the visiting Arizona Cardinals. The Rams easily disposed the Oakland Raiders, en route to scoring 33 points on Monday Night Football. The Cardinals, however, were bullied and beaten by the Washington Redskins in Week 1.

Todd Gurley is in a tremendous spot to absolutely explode against the visiting Cardinals after Arizona was pushed around in Week 1. The Cardinals defense allowed opposing Redskins running backs, Adrian Peterson and Chris Thompson, to combine for 294 total yards and 2 touchdowns on 39 touches. Those are numbers you'd expect to see in a video game, not in an actual NFL box score.

Our model has Gurley projected to score 22.5 DraftKings points, which is actually the second best behind Alvin Kamara, who is projected for 23.0 DraftKings points. However, with how poorly the Cardinals defense performed in Week 1 to opposing running backs, Todd Gurley is my pick for top stud at the running back position in Week 2.
