Jimmy Garoppolo, QB, San Francisco 49ers

Jimmy Garoppolo is rather inexpensive this week, but he is priced down for a reason. The 49ers quarterback gets a stiff test in the season opener, facing the vaunted Minnesota Vikings defense on the road.

The Vikings allowed only 192 passing yards per game in 2017, which was good for the second-lowest mark in the NFL. Despite the breakout last season following the trade that sent him to San Francisco from the Patriots, Garoppolo and the Niners are pegged for a 19.75 implied total, which is tied for the third-lowest on the week.

Like LeSean McCoy, there will be plenty of weeks where Garoppolo is a viable play. This week, however, he is an easy fade due to the matchup and the bevy of other quality options at the position in plus draws.
