Tarik Cohen, Chicago Bears

Standard Running Back Projection: 49th
PPR Running Back Projection: 37th
PPR Average Draft Position: 6.06 (RB29)

Among the 10 backs on this list, Tarik Cohen has a the biggest discrepancy in his standard-league and PPR ranks, according to our projections.

Cohen flashed playmaking ability as a rookie, carrying the ball 87 times for 370 yards and 2 scores while adding 53 catches for 353 yards and another tuddie through the air. Heading into Year 2, the speedy runner was probably always going to garner some breakout hype, but his stock has been lifted maybe a bit too far, at least going by our models, as the Chicago Bears have generated a lot of noise this offseason.

While there's reason to be excited about this offense improving from what we saw a year ago -- and the coaching staff has certainly talked up Cohen -- there's also plenty of reason to pump the brakes on all the talk about them being 2018's version of the Los Angeles Rams, who made a historically gigantic year-to-year leap. Outliers like that are outliers for a reason.

Still, there's no denying Cohen's pass-game chops, and we have him projected for 55 catches, 356 yards and 0.98 touchdowns as a receiver, with the catches being the 10th-most among running backs. We also forecast him to rack up 83 rushing attempts, 328 yards and 1.43 scores on the ground.

Those numbers are pretty similar to what he did as a rookie, when he clocked in as PPR RB29, so as long as your expectations are in check, Cohen is a solid middle-round target in PPR leagues.
