Best Pick: Dalvin Cook

Round 2 was a popular place for wide receivers, as eight of them came off the board here. It was running back Dalvin Cook, however, who stood out as a tremendous get for Jim Sannes at pick 14 overall.

Cook was on his way to a stellar rookie campaign, averaging 4.8 yards per carry before tearing his ACL in Week 4. Most importantly, he received 25 or more touches in 2 of his 3 full games, indicating the Minnesota Vikings view him as a true workhorse back.

There are some concerns, such as the weakness of Minnesota's offensive line and running backs not named Adrian Peterson typically taking a full season to recover from an ACL tear. Nonetheless, Cook has the opportunity to be a top-five back in a dynamic offense.
