3 Bold NFL Predictions for Week 16
Wayne Gallman Will Be a Top-18 Running Back
Why This Is Bold: Wayne Gallman has been effective lately, but he's rarely even been a flex option for the majority of the year. He's been playing behind Orleans Darkwa for the majority of the season, capping his upside in a major way.
Why This Will Happen: Over the last two weeks, Gallman has seen 16 targets and caught 13 passes. In PPR formats, that alone puts him on the map. But he's also seeing a nice chunk of touches in the run game, out-carrying Darkwa by one and out-gaining him by 62 yards.

Gallman is New York's most effective back, and it seems like they're beginning to realize it.
The Arizona Cardinals rank fourth in our schedule-adjusted metrics against the run, which is a significant variable against Gallman's case. However, the Cardinals have allowed 82 receptions to running backs this season, which ranks 10th-worst in the NFL, and it's also where Gallman has been making his biggest impact of late.
And there's also the possibility he gets utilized as the featured back this weekend.
