Eric Ebron Will Be a Top-5 Tight End

Why This Is Bold: Eric Ebron has been a massive disappointment. He's been a "sleeper" for years now, but has yet to put a productive season together. Ebron has been consistent this season, but that consistency has been pretty poor in terms of fantasy output.

Why This Will Happen: Over the last two weeks, Ebron has seen a total of 18 targets and has turned them into 15 catches for 127 yards and a touchdown. He's led the Detroit Lions in each of these games, but prior to them, he had been targeted more than seven times just twice this season. Matthew Stafford seems to be beginning to trust him more.

A large factor in Ebron's emergence -- particularly of late -- is the struggles of the Detroit's run game. Because they throw in any and all situations, Ebron -- who has great size should theoretically be a better red zone weapon than he has been historically -- is finally beginning to put it together.

As mentioned last week, the Cincinnati Bengals are struggling immensely. They're ravaged by injuries, and they've been mediocre against tight ends even when healthy this season.
