Wide Receiver

Chalk

The wide receiver position does not have as many obvious chalk plays, but the first name that comes to mind is Keenan Allen, who has gone off for 34.2 and 28.7 FanDuel points in the last two weeks, respectively. This week's matchup seems weighted more towards dominant defensive and rushing performances from the Chargers, but he should still see plenty of targets and opportunities for fantasy success.

With Robert Woods on the shelf, Cooper Kupp stepped up last week for his best performance as a pro. He should prove popular at a price of only $6,300. In that same price range, a more consistent option is Davante Adams. People will love the $6,500 price tag for a player who has scored at least 16.6 points in three straight contests. It doesn't hurt that he has a matchup on tap against a Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense that is giving up the most FanDuel points per game to the position.

Pivot

Ted Ginn Jr., $5,500 (vs. Carolina Panthers)

Ted Ginn Jr. is quietly having the best season of his career. With five weeks remaining, he is only 149 yards from tying his 2008 career high of 790. It's probably not surprising given who is throwing the ball to him, but setting career highs in one's 11th season is a notable occurrence. He and the New Orleans Saints head home to face the division rival Carolina Panthers this week.

Carolina, where Ginn played for three of the past four seasons, has gotten progressively worse against wide receivers. After not allowing a 100-yard game in the first eight weeks, they have allowed three different receivers to top the century mark in their past three games, including two last week (Robby Anderson and Jermaine Kearse).

Ginn has scored double-digit FanDuel points in 6 of 11 games, scored 12.9 against the Panthers in Week 3, and has seen increased targets. His 17 targets in the past two weeks are second only to Michael Thomas. The Saints have an implied total of 26.25 points this week, third highest on the slate, so there should be plenty of opportunity for Ginn to put his mark on the game.
