Wide Receiver

Chalk

After a 144-yard, 3-touchdown performance against the Tennessee Titans, expect Antonio Brown to see heavy ownership against the depleted Green Bay Packers. Julio Jones should also prove a popular play this week despite only having one touchdown on the season.

This week, the Atlanta Falcons have a home game against a Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense that is trying their best to take over the Kansas City Chiefs for the worst-defense-against-wide-receivers award. Kenny Stills should also prove popular against the New England Patriots, especially if Matt Moore is throwing the ball.

T.Y. Hilton, $7,500 (vs Tennessee Titans)

Has there been a more irritating player on a weekly basis than T.Y. Hilton? If there is, I'd like to know about him. Hilton has broken through for three massive performances of 150-plus yards, matching Antonio Brown for the most such games this season, according to Pro Football Reference. Yet those are the only three weeks he has scored more than 6.9 FanDuel points in a game. Holy inconsistency, Batman!

At $7,500, Hilton is the eighth-highest priced wide receiver on the slate. With more consistent options surrounding him in this price range, it's easy to see why people would sour on him, especially since he finished with a 1-catch, 19-yard performance against the Tennessee Titans in Week 6. The upside, however, is undeniable, and the Titans have been easy on wide receivers in recent weeks.

The Titans are a bottom-five defense against receivers, but they have been especially bad in the past three weeks, giving up over 600 yards and 6 touchdowns to the position. The game should be relatively high scoring, as the 45.5 line is the fifth-highest on the slate.

You're obviously not going to roster Hilton in cash games, unless you might as well burn your money if you did that. In tournaments, though, his expected low ownership, weak opponent, and 30-point upside make him a must-consider option.
