Despite their strong work against the pass this season, the Denver Broncos have actually been a favorable fantasy matchup for opposing quarterbacks. They have allowed at least 15 FanDuel points to the position in four of their last five games, and in seven of their 10 games this season. They have also allowed three straight three-touchdown games through the air, holding teams to fewer than two passing touchdowns only three times.

Derek Carr hasn't been posting bad fantasy numbers lately, but they're certainly not exciting, with marks of 14.4, 14.7 and 14.5 over his last three (though he did post a season-high 30.2 in the week before those).

His fantasy production has been limited by a lack of touchdown scoring, with one each over those last three games. The Oakland Raiders have been the league's third-most pass-heavy team in the red zone though, and as a competent offense -- ranking 15th in Adjusted Net Expected Points (NEP) per play -- they're not likely to continue running as few red zone snaps per game as they have been recently (averaging a league-low 4.0 per game over those last three). This gives Carr a sneaky-strong ceiling, which isn't reflect by his price-tag this week.
