Poor T.Y. Hilton is still missing his quarterback and is getting saddled with another tough matchup this week against the Cincinnati Bengals. The Bengals may not be the Jacksonville Jaguars, ranking middle-of-the-road against the pass by our schedule-adjusted metrics (15th), but they've only allowed 177.7 passing yards per game (third-best), and the Indianapolis Colts have a slate-low 15.25 implied team total.
Hilton's home/road splits are well-documented, but continue to show themselves to be true. In his career, Hilton has averaged 67.0 yards per game on the road, compared to 82.4 at home. This season, his two 150-plus yard performances have come at home in good matchups (Cleveland and San Francisco), while he's yet to hit 60 yards or score on the road, including a 19-yard disappearing act in a theoretically nice spot against the Tennessee Titans.
Without Andrew Luck at the helm, Hilton is more matchup-dependent than ever, and once again looks like a poor bet for a ceiling game this week.
