Jordan Howard, RB, Chicago Bears

FanDuel Price: $6,900

DraftKings Price: $6,800

Early on there were concerns with Jordan Howard's usage -- particularly with the emergence of Tarik Cohen -- but that certainly hasn't been the case lately. Over the last five games Howard has seen over 45% of the Bears' carries and targets, which is creeping into Le'Veon Bell territory. And what do you know, this week's opponent, the New Orleans Saints, is dead-last in defending the run by numberFire's schedule-adjusted metrics.

The trouble is the Saints are 9.0-point home favorites, so a negative game script is a big concern for Howard, who is rarely involved in the passing game. Outside of a blowout loss to the Green Bay Packers -- where Howard needed a short garbage-time touchdown to salvage his fantasy day -- the Bears' recent games have been close enough to keep Howard in the game plan.

Since Mitchell Trubisky took over at quarterback, Howard has seen just 1 target over his last three contests. If the Bears fall behind early, as much as they don't want to throw the ball, they could be forced to turn to Cohen more often than they've done lately. And despite Howard's heavy volume, the Bears aren't against taking him off the field -- even including last week's season-high 89% snap count, on the year he's been in on just 60% of the snaps.

If you think the Bears can hang in this one, then Howard's usual volume and otherwise excellent matchup lends itself to using him as a tournament play. However, know going in that the floor is very low.
