Adrian Peterson, RB, Arizona Cardinals

FanDuel Price: $6,300

DraftKings Price: $5,800

Adrian Peterson made a fool out of many of us last week, including yours truly, so it would seem foolish to doubt him again, right?

Well, after last week's performance it's clear that Peterson has more left in the tank than many of us realized, and he'll undoubtedly have more fruitful games this season. This week he gets an excellent matchup against the Los Angeles Rams, who rank 27th against the run by our schedule-adjusted metrics, and have allowed the most fantasy points per game to running backs.

The problem is the game is in London, which often has wonky and unpredictable results, and the Arizona Cardinals have issues with 1:00 PM games on the east coast, let alone traveling across the ocean. The strong matchup makes it hard to see Peterson completely failing, but he's still uninvolved in the passing game (zero targets last week), so should the Cardinals fall behind early, we could see him get phased out.

Furthermore, given his big Week 6 performance and still relatively affordable price, there's a high chance Peterson is incredibly popular in tournaments, which further gives you reason to fade him from a game theory perspective. Be wary of chasing the points this week -- there's a good chance last week proves to be his best of the year.
