Jacoby Brissett, QB, Indianapolis Colts

FanDuel Price: $6,900

DraftKings Price: $5,000

Jacoby Brissett has certainly had his moments as a value play at quarterback, particularly with a poor Indianapolis Colts defense allowing the most points per game (32.5), leading to potential high-scoring shootouts. Brissett also has the ability to add upside with his legs with 3 rushing touchdowns this season. However, his best performances have come in ideal matchups against the Cleveland Browns and San Francisco 49ers, which is definitely not the case against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

By numberFire's schedule-adjusted metrics, the Jaguars defense ranks 1st overall against the pass, and has allowed the fewest fantasy points per game to quarterbacks. They're also 1st in the league in rushing percentage, so they're more likely to grind things out on the ground, rather than turn this into one of those fantasy rich, back-and-forth shootouts. Even if Brissett can run one into the end zone, chances are low that he'll have the passing yardage for a big score.

It's worth noting that the Jaguars are more vulnerable to the run, but even with Robert Turbin out, this is a murky shared backfield between Frank Gore and Marlon Mack. Aside from perhaps taking a tournament flyer on T.Y. Hilton breaking a long one, this is an offense to avoid.

If you're looking for a value at quarterback, Tyrod Taylor, Brett Hundley, and even C.J. Beathard are better ways to go.
