Wide Receiver

Michael Thomas, New Orleans Saints

Week 5 Salary: $7,900

Week 6 Salary: $8,500

Michael Thomas saw his salary rise $600 over the past week, and he is now $1,000 above his price tag from two games ago. Back-to-back games of 18-plus FanDuel points and a starring role in what is expected to be the week's highest-scoring game will do that.

Thomas is the second-most expensive wide receiver on FanDuel, as opposed to DraftKings, where he is the seventh-priciest. That may lead some to believe Thomas is overpriced on FanDuel, but with Julio Jones banged up and Mike Evans and Jordy Nelson both in tough spots, it is hard to make a case for many wideouts above Thomas from a raw points perspective.

Golden Tate, Detroit Lions

Week 5 Salary: $6,700

Week 6 Salary: $7,600

Similar to Stafford, Golden Tate saw a huge price jump this week (which has to make you wonder why Marvin Jones saw just a $400 increase) and is now the eighth-most expensive receiver on the slate. Also similar to Stafford, Tate probably could crush in this spot, but we just haven't seen enough from him to justify paying this salary. For such a low aDOT receiver (six-yard aDOT is the third-lowest among receivers with at least 20 targets), Tate really isn't seeing the volume of targets to put up big games.
