Kevin Hogan, QB, Cleveland Browns

Kevin Hogan is definitely a deeper sleeper than McCown, but he's in a really interesting spot after being announced as the Cleveland Browns' starting quarterback for Week 6.

Hogan was outstanding in limited action against the Jets last week, going 16 of 19 for 194 yards and 2 touchdowns, while also adding 30 rushing yards on 4 carries.

We can't read too much into a small sample, but Hogan's 0.28 Passing NEP per drop back in 2017 ranks fifth among quarterbacks with at least 40 drop backs on the year. While he's not likely to stay that efficient, that's certainly an encouraging mark.

Hogan's fantasy value is also bolstered by his rushing ability, as he has 140 yards and 1 touchdown on 13 carries over the bits and pieces of 7 games that he has played in over his career.

The Houston Texans sit in the middle of the pack against the pass this year, ranking 15th in Adjusted Defensive Passing NEP per play, but they have allowed top-10 fantasy production to opposing quarterbacks. With J.J. Watt and Whitney Mercilus both done for the season, their pass rush has become a lot less intimidating.
