Fantasy Football Dynasty Stock Watch: Buy T.Y. Hilton and Sell Ty Montgomery

Sell: Jay Ajayi, RB, Miami Dolphins

In Week 3 against the New York Jets' below-average run defense, Jay Ajayi mustered just 16 yards on 11 carries. He followed that up this past week with a measly 46 yards on 12 carries against the lowly New Orleans Saints defense. That puts him at a Rushing NEP per play of just -0.08, worse than lesser-heralded types like Lamar Miller (-0.05) and Wendell Smallwood (-0.05).

After being essentially shut out in back-to-back weeks, the Dolphins don't appear to have the pieces in place on offense to do Ajayi any favors, and his value may continue to drop as the season progresses. When you add in concerns about his knee, the bottom on his value could fall out quickly.

Finding workhorse running backs is nearly impossible these days, so parting ways with one is an extremely dicey proposition. But with Ajayi, if you can cash out for top dollar, it is certainly worth considering.
