Andre Ellington, RB, Arizona Cardinals

Despite Chris Johnson and Kerwynn Williams earning the starting nod the last two weeks, Andre Ellington has been the most productive back for the David Johnson-less Arizona Cardinals. In the last two games, Chris Johnson has averaged just 2.7 yards per carry and Williams has mustered just 25 yards, while Ellington has racked up 104 yards on just 15 touches (10 in Week 3). Ellington's efficiency has translated into the nimble back seeing the most action of the trio with 79 total snaps (or 53.7%) of the plays in Weeks 2 and 3.

While head coach Bruce Arians will keep CJ2K as the starter in Week 4, he also indicated Ellington's role would expand moving forward. It couldn't come at a better time, as the Cards have a plus matchup against the San Francisco 49ers this week.

The Niners' defense has allowed 22.1 fantasy points to opposing running backs, 6th-most in the NFL. They also rank in the bottom-4 of the league with 25.3 points allowed per game, and are 30th in defensive NEP, suggesting the Cardinals' offense -- and Ellington -- are in line for a big game on Sunday.
