Dallas Cowboys vs. Los Angeles Rams

The Dallas Cowboys and Los Angeles Rams face off in what is expected to be the third-highest scoring game on the slate. Only four teams have a higher implied team total than Dallas, making them a prime stacking candidate in a home game against a Los Angeles defense that was just shredded by the Brian Hoyer-led Niners.

San Fran entered their Week 3 matchup with the Rams with two touchdown-less games on their ledger, but left with 39 points. The Cowboys make for potentially the most realistically-priced mega-stack on the slate.

Ezekiel Elliott, RB, Dallas Cowboys

FanDuel Price: $8,500

Ezekiel Elliott bounced back from a dreadful Week 2 showing to post 94 scrimmage yards and a score in another tough matchup against the Arizona Cardinals. He should have things much easier in Week 4 -- only the Los Angeles Chargers have allowed more yards on the ground than the Rams, who have also given up a league-worst five rushing touchdowns.

It shouldn't come as much surprise, but it is worth noting that Elliott has played much better in games Dallas has won by at least six points.

As Raybon pointed out in his piece covering Vegas odds, "Winning teams rush for 35 more yards and double the touchdown output of losing teams, which equates to winners averaging roughly 6.5 more fantasy points per game. Favorites average a lower -- but still very significant -- figure of 2.8 more rushing fantasy points per game than underdogs."

With a softer matchup and a positive game script, this could certainly be the spot in which Zeke breaks out. He is a viable play in all formats and is tough to imagine not using if stacking this game.

Dak Prescott, QB, Dallas Cowboys

FanDuel Price: $7,600

Considering the matchups he's had to face to begin 2017, Dak Prescott has really performed quite well. Thanks in part to his contributions on the ground (4.1 FanDuel points per game coming from his rushing stats), Prescott ranks as the third-highest scoring quarterback on this slate. Despite his play and excellent matchup, Prescott comes in as just the 10th-most expensive quarterback.

He's actually seen even larger splits than Elliott when Dallas has won by at least six points, averaging 22.49 FanDuel points in such games, as opposed to 14.79 in all others. He also has some pretty notable home/road splits during his career, averaging 22.06 FanDuel points at home and just 16.73 on the road. He should have no problem finding success against a Rams defense that just allowed Brian Hoyer to total 332 yards and 3 touchdowns against them.

Others to Consider

Unsurprisingly, the Cowboys' primary touchdown scorer has also performed better when they've won by at least one score.

Since 2014, Dez Bryant ($7,800) has averaged 16.14 FanDuel points while catching 18 touchdowns in 18 of such games, as opposed to a 10.28 average in 23 other games. In eight games they've won by six-plus points since Prescott and Elliott joined the team, Bryant has averaged 0.88 touchdowns, as opposed to 0.38 in the eight other games.

Bryant has a red zone touchdown in both of his previous games and leads the league in targets from within the 10-yard line. His touchdown potential with Dallas boasting a 26.75-point implied team total is through the roof.
