Jay Ajayi's 45.45% Market Share Leads the NFL

In the Miami Dolphins' first game of the season last Sunday, Jay Ajayi led the NFL with 28 carries, to go along with 2 receptions on 2 targets. He handled a league-high 87.50% of his team's carries, with Kenyan Drake the only other Miami running back to receive a touch. And Drake's lone carry went for a whopping -3 yards.

Le'Veon Bell, who racked up 31 touches on 27 carries and 4 receptions, is the only other player with at least 30 touches in a game so far this season.

This marks the sixth time in Ajayi's career he has received at least 20 carries in a game. And with 128 rushing yards in the opener, he has now gone over 100 yards in five of those six 20-plus carry games, with the Dolphins winning each.

In Week 3, Ajayi will be up against the New York Jets, who are giving up a league-high 185.0 rushing yards per game.
