After a long offseason of drama, Ezekiel Elliott got off to a hot start to the season. He had the grim task of facing a New York Giants defense that allowed the seventh-fewest fantasy points per game to opposing running backs in 2016.
But he proved that to be no issue, turning his 29 touches into 140 total yards for 16.50 FanDuel points -- the eighth-best score among all running backs -- despite not getting the level of blocking that he has become accustomed to.

Elliott has now rushed for at least 80 yards in 16 of his 17 career games, and he has never been kept to single digit FanDuel points in a game. So with the Denver Broncos -- who actually allowed the 12th-most fantasy points per game to running backs last season -- in front of him this week, Elliott is once again worth paying up for.
