Was 5 First-Round Cornerbacks Enough?

This cornerback class is considered to be deep by just about every analyst, and we saw five corners go in the first round.

The New Orleans Saints took Marshon Lattimore from Ohio State 11th, the Baltimore Ravens drafted Marlon Humphrey from Alabama 16th, and the Tennessee Titans got Adoree' Jackson from USC at 18th.

Gareon Conely, amidst off-field allegations, went to Oakland at pick 24, and Tre'Davious White from LSU was taken by the Buffalo Bills at 27th.

Still on the board are Kevin King and Sidney Jones from Washington, Quincy Wilson and Teez Tabor from Florida, Chidobe Awuzie from Colorado, and Jourdan Lewis from Michigan.

Borderline first-round talent is available in the secondary, and perhaps once one or two of these guys go, we'll see a run of cornerbacks in round two.

And that doesn't even cover the safeties. Florida's Marcus Maye, Washington's Budda Baker, North Carolina State's Josh Jones, Connecticut's Obi Melifonwu, and Utah's Marcus Williams are all available. They weren't first-round candidates, but with so much secondary depth, we could see the draft turn defensive on day two.
