Kenny Britt, WR, Cleveland Browns

No, you probably can't get much worse than Jared Goff. He's the marker in the bottom left in the chart below that shows quarterback Passing NEP per drop back (x-axis) versus Success Rate (y-axis).

That's not great, Bob!

Really, you could make the argument that literally any other team outside of the Rams is an upgrade for a wide receiver. But you -- we, as fantasy footballers -- would've liked to see Kenny Britt sign with at least average quarterback play.

While the Rams ranked dead last in the league by about 80 expected points through the air last year, the Browns -- Britt's new team -- had a bottom-10 passing offense. And with question marks surrounding who will even be the starter next year, it's not an ideal situation for Britt.

It's unfortunate, too, because Britt was kind of a beast last year, all things considered. Look at what he did compared to the other two Rams' wideouts who had 50 or more targets last year:

Despite seeing his targets deepest down the field among the trio, Britt still ended the year with a similar yards after catch (YAC) profile to Tavon Austin. He torched both guys in catch rate and yards per target, too.

With Terrelle Pryor out of Cleveland, Britt should walk into a situation with a decent amount of volume. Pryor had 140 targets last year, and the Browns attempted 1.62 passes to every rush, the fifth-highest ratio in football. (Albeit, they weren't efficient passes -- they were game script-related passes.) But on a team without a true starting quarterback and one that scored a touchdown on just 15.6% of their drives last year (third-worst in football), Britt's short-term situation could've been a lot better had he signed with a different team.
