Tyrell Williams, San Diego (now Los Angeles) Chargers

Early season-ending injuries to the Chargers' top two receiving options from 2015 - Keenan Allen and Danny Woodhead - opened the door for Tyrell Williams in 2016. The undrafted free agent out of Western Oregon made the most of it with a breakout season.

Williams led the Chargers in receptions (69) and receiving yards (1,059) and tied for the team lead in touchdown catches (7). He was a big-play specialist, collecting 19 catches for 20 or more yards, which ranked tied for sixth among receivers. He also had 414 yards after the catch, ranking 14th among all players.

Keep in mind that a shoulder injury also limited Williams late in the season, so his numbers could have been even better.

Only CBS' Jamey Eisenberg ranked Williams inside the top overall 200 players of the five preseason lists compared. He had him at 187th.

There wasn't much reason to be high on Williams coming into the season. After all, he had only two receptions (albeit for 90 yards and a touchdown) in seven games during his rookie season. Dontrelle Inman came in with much more production from 2015 (35 catches, 486 yards, 3 touchdowns), and the Chargers had the ever-reliable Antonio Gates and promising rookie Hunter Henry at tight end to provide depth behind Allen and Woodhead.

Like Tyreek Hill, Williams finished as a top-20 fantasy receiver. He was 13th in standard leagues and 18th in PPR leagues. Overall, he placed tied for 51st in PPR leagues and 69th in standard leagues.
