Colin Kaepernick, QB, San Francisco 49ers

FanDuel Price: $7,300
Salary Change: Down $500

It wasn’t pretty for Colin Kaepernick last week.

After completing just one of five passes for four yards, he was benched in the second half against Chicago. The game conditions weren’t exactly conducive for success -- it snowed and the 49ers called an extremely conservative game, running the ball on 30 of 38 plays before Kaepernick exited.

Prior to this bombing, the signal-caller posted four straight games of at least 19 FanDuel points, including a 34.14-point outburst in Week 12. He has a huge floor when not being benched thanks to his 49 rushing yards per game.

So, he should be back on our radar now that he’ll be starting San Francisco's Week 14 matchup against the New York Jets.

With his $500 salary drop, he’ll need just 21.9 FanDuel points to reach tournament value -- the Jets have allowed five different quarterbacks to reach that total this year. Furthermore, this is a terrible spot for New York since they're traveling across the country after playing on Monday night.

It’ll take some guts to roster Kaepernick after last week’s performance, so we know he won’t be highly owned. His massive ceiling in this matchup makes him a preferred tournament play.
