Thomas Rawls, RB, Seattle Seahawks

FanDuel Price: $7,000
Salary Change: Up $1,900

Things change quickly in the NFL. Just two weeks ago, Thomas Rawls was slowly returning from injury while Christine Michael was in the middle of a breakout season and rookie C.J. Prosise added a new dimension to the Seattle offense. But now, Michael isn’t even on the roster and Prosise is sidelined with a scapula injury, leaving Rawls as the top dog in the Seahawks’ backfield.

Rawls was featured in last week’s game after Prosise went down, playing 40 snaps and touching the ball 17 times against the Eagles. He didn’t do a lot with his touches, but it was his first significant action in nearly a full calendar year.

With his new role, Rawls’ salary has jumped a whopping $1,900. Against Tampa Bay this week, he’ll now need 14 FanDuel points to reach cash value, a number the Buccaneers have allowed just four times this season.

If you look at running backs with this big of a salary increase over the last three seasons, the numbers aren’t pretty -- they’ve only reached cash game value 32 percent of the time and tournament value just 10 percent of the time, all while being 2.3 times higher owned than the average running back.

You should give Rawls another week or reconditioning and reintegration into this offense before putting him into your FanDuel lineups, which means he’s a complete fade in Week 12.
