Spencer Ware, RB, Kansas City Chiefs

FanDuel Price: $7,000
Salary Change: Down $700

After starting out the season hot, Spencer Ware has cooled off significantly in recent weeks. He missed Week 9 with a concussion and hasn’t reached the end zone since Week 7. However, since he returned, he’s received 16 and 19 touches in each of the last two games while playing a season-high 77 percent of the snaps last week against the Buccaneers.

This week, his Chiefs will play the Denver Broncos as 3.5-point Vegas underdogs. Denver’s defense doesn’t allow many points, but they are susceptible to big games by opposing running backs. This season, they’ve allowed three running backs to hit tournament value on FanDuel.

Ware, meanwhile, has hit 21.0 FanDuel points (tournament value this week) in 22 percent of his games this year. He has an underrated matchup, a lowered salary, and he’s the same price as a more attractive option in Thomas Rawls, making him an excellent tournament pivot who you can roster at less than five percent ownership.
