If you’re not using one of the top-priced defenses this weekend, drop down to the New York Jets D/ST at $4,700. They turned in their first double-digit FanDuel performance of the season last week when they forced three turnovers against Joe Flacco and the Baltimore Ravens.

This week, the Jets will hit the road to play the 0-7 Cleveland Browns, who should deploy Josh McCown at the quarterback position. According to Cian Fahey’s Quarterback Catalogue, McCown led the league in avoidable sacks last year -- that is, sacks that can be completely blamed on the quarterback. When you add in the fact that the Browns have already allowed 21 sacks this season, the Jets’ defense could be in store for a monster day on Sunday.

Despite his touchdown-to-interception ratio last season, McCown still has 65 interceptions and 64 fumbles in his NFL career. It would probably be an upset if he didn’t turn the ball over against the Jets on Sunday. With an enormous ceiling in the sack and turnover department, the Jets’ defense is one of the best tournament plays of the week.
