Tyrod Taylor, Buffalo Bills

FanDuel Price: $7,100

Since putting up a horrific 5.5 FanDuel points in Week 1, Tyrod Taylor has played well recently, averaging 19.8 FanDuel points per game over his last three games.

Taylor played the Arizona Cardinals, New York Jets, and New England Patriots in those games. On the surface, that may sound like Taylor has been putting up solid numbers against good defenses. But, of those three opponents, only Arizona ranks inside the top-10 according to our Adjusted Defensive Passing NEP metric this season. The Patriots rank 18th, and the Jets have been turrrible, ranking 29th.

Taylor's 19.36 Passing NEP ranks 18th among the 33 quarterbacks who have attempted at least 60 drop backs this season. His 0.16 Passing NEP per drop back ranks 16th in that same group.

Since his Week 2 clash with the Jets, in which he posted 25.4 FanDuel points, Taylor's salary his risen $700. Tyrod is priced as the 12th-most expensive quarterback this week.

In Week 5, Taylor faces the Los Angeles Rams (ranked ninth in Adjusted Defensive Passing NEP) as a two-point underdog on the road. The game currently has a 39.5-point over/under, which is the lowest total on the slate. The Buffalo Bills' 18.5 implied point total is the third-lowest this week.

So far this season, the Rams have given up just 12.92 FanDuel points per game to quarterbacks. Only the Bills, Seattle Seahawks, Houston Texans, and Philadelphia Eagles have allowed fewer points per game to the position.

Our projections have Taylor pegged for 17 FanDuel points, which ranks him 15th in terms of FanDuel value among quarterbacks this week.

Taylor can post big numbers in certain weeks, especially when he gets things going with his legs. Don't anticipate this being one of those weeks.
