Spencer Ware, RB, Kansas City Chiefs

FanDuel Price: $6,200
Salary Change: Down $600

After a Week 1 explosion of 29.4 FanDuel points, Spencer Ware has quieted down with fewer than 10 FanDuel points in each of his last two games. However, he still has a big workload, and despite only scoring 6.8 FanDuel points last week, he did receive 20 carries.

Jamaal Charles’ recovery from his ACL injury a year ago has been unusually slow, but he is tentatively expected to make his 2016 debut on Sunday. Even if Charles is active, expect him to be extremely limited with just a handful of touches.

The one great thing about Spencer Ware in a featured role is that he is game script-proof. Trailing three-plus scores most of the day in Week 1 against the San Diego Chargers, Ware hauled in 7 receptions for 129 receiving yards.

And it’s not like he’s just limited to check downs and screens -- he’s out there running seam routes and catching balls 25 yards from the line of scrimmage:

Against an explosive Pittsburgh Steelers’ offense with Le'Veon Bell returning on Sunday night, we could see Ware in line for a ton of production in the pass game as the Kansas City Chiefs play catch up.

The best part? No one will be on him. Over the last three years, running backs whose salaries have dropped $500 or more carry an average ownership of just 3.1 percent in GPPs. Ware will be an under-owned, high-upside option for tourneys this week.
