Wide Receiver

Chalk:

Marvin Jones, $7,600 at Chicago Bears - Marvin Jones is leading all wide receivers in FanDuel points and averaging 10 targets per game, yet he's still priced as just the 11th-most expensive wide receiver on FanDuel. In a matchup against Chicago's weak and decimated secondary, he should be the chalk at the position.

Pivots:

Jeremy Maclin, $6,900 at Pittsburgh Steelers - Jeremy Maclin has easily led the Kansas City Chiefs in targets through Week 3, averaging 10 per game. For whatever reason, the results just haven't followed the targets in the way they did last season. Perhaps it is the fact that he has been matched up against Jason Verrett, Johnathan Joseph, and Darrelle Revis. Regardless, he gets a much easier matchup against a Pittsburgh Steelers secondary that allowed the most yards to opposing receivers in 2015 and was just torched by Carson Wentz for 301 yards and 2 touchdowns. Maclin should see plenty of looks in this game with the Chiefs listed as 4.5-point underdogs, and his ownership figures to be minuscule following his slow start to the season.

Golden Tate, $6,200 at Chicago Bears - Golden Tate has been a non-factor through the first three weeks, but Coach Jim Bob Cooter said this week that Tate will see more touches going forward. With the attention of Chicago's horrendous defense, as well as daily fantasy players focused on Marvin Jones, Tate is likely to go completely overlooked in this game. I normally don't love targeting Tate in tournaments due to his low average depth of target, but if there was ever a time to do so, it's this week, with his price and ownership both way down.

Jamison Crowder, $6,000 vs Cleveland Browns - Jamison Crowder has quietly been the number-one receiver for the Washington Redskins through three weeks, leading the team in targets, catches, and receiving touchdowns. He has also been the most heavily-targeted player in the red zone this season, receiving eight targets from Kirk Cousins from inside the 20-yard line already. His targets and matchup against Cleveland's weak secondary provide him with a safe floor, while his red zone usage for a team with the second-highest implied team total gives him more upside than most would credit him for.
