Washington's 29 Rushing Attempts Are a League Low

The Washington Redskins let Alfred Morris walk this offseason in favor of Matt Jones taking over as the lead running back. But through two games, the Redskins have attempted a league-high 89 passes, and Jones has only seen 22 overall touches.

With the extremely low volume, and Chris Thompson in the mix as well, the Washington running game is one to avoid in fantasy football for as long as they carry on with this run-pass split.

In Week 3, they will face the New York Giants, who forced the New Orleans Saints into a pass-happy attack in Week 2 -- the Saints only ran the ball 13 times all game.
