Kelvin Benjamin, WR, Carolina Panthers

No, having both Kelvin Benjamin and Cam Newton on this list doesn't mean that I think the Panthers are going to be bad on offense. It's just that Benjamin probably isn't going to see 145 targets like he did in 2014.

And without that volume, Benjamin probably isn't going to be a surefire fantasy football asset, as his Reception NEP per target (0.67) in 2014 meant he was as efficient as an average NFL wideout. Add in Devin Funchess on the outside, and Benjamin's already questionable red zone usage (he caught 4 of 15 red zone targets for 3 touchdowns in 2014) becomes an even bigger red flag. Funchess caught 5 of 11 red zone targets in 2015 -- all for touchdowns.

Yes, Benjamin spent time catching passes from Derek Anderson in 2014, but he owned an adjusted yards per attempt of 12.2 with Anderson compared to 6.3 with Newton, according to Rotoviz's adjusted yards per attempt app.

Benjamin, an inefficient player without the guaranteed volume he once offered, isn't likely to pay off his late-third/early-fourth draft cost.
