Cairo Santos, Kansas City Chiefs

Cairo Santos is another great option for Week 1. We usually don't talk about upside when it comes to kickers, but Santos showed his upside when he drilled seven field goals in Week 4 of 2015.

Now, I am not projecting seven field goals in Week 1, but the conditions are there for Santos to have a good day.

The Kansas City Chiefs are the second-biggest favorites of the weekend, with a seven-point edge over the San Diego Chargers. Kickers on teams favored by 5 to 9.5 points had averaged 8.74 points per game from 2012 to 2014.

The total on this game is a low 43, which will likely scare off some players, but the Chiefs' implied total is a healthy 25. Kickers on a team with an implied total of 24 to 26.75 scored an average of 8.77 points per game.

Santos may be the easiest to attain of our top three because he doesn't play in a high-powered offense, so if your pick falls near the end of the draft, prepare to take him.
