3 NBA FanDuel Value Plays to Target on Tuesday 3/7/23

One of the keys to finding success in daily fantasy basketball is uncovering potential value plays.

If you're looking to roster a stud player or two, you need to consider squeezing one of these lower-salaried options into your lineup.

Let's take a look at some players who can help fill in the gaps in your lineup on FanDuel tonight, using numberFire's daily fantasy basketball projections as a guide.

Jevon Carter, PG/SG, Bucks ($4,400)

Giannis Antetokounmpo is out and so are Jrue Holiday and Wesley Matthews, so, yeah, the Milwaukee Bucks are a go-to source of value on this slate.

Bobby Portis ($6,200), Grayson Allen ($4,700) and Khris Middleton ($6,400) are all projecting well, but let's hone in on Jevon Carter.

In the floor situation he'll be in tonight, Carter has racked up a 21.0% usage rate and produced 0.92 FanDuel points per minute, according to CourtIQ. That's a usage-rate bump of 5.4 percentage points as well as an increase of 0.12 FanDuel points per minute.

Minutes won't be an issue tonight, and the matchup is a pretty good one. The Orlando Magic have surrendered the ninth-most FanDuel points per game to point guards over the last seven games (51.7).

The game environment won't hurt as this clash holds a 229.5-point total and 2.0-point spread.

We project Carter for 23.3 FanDuel points -- 5.28 per $1,000.

Xavier Tillman, PF/C, Grizzlies ($5,700)

As of early Tuesday afternoon, Xavier Tillman is our model's top point-per-dollar play for tonight.

The Memphis Grizzlies will be sans Steven Adams, Ja Morant and Brandon Clarke. With those three off the floor this season, Tillman has generated 0.92 FanDuel points per minute. He's played at least 29 minutes in four of the last six contests and has popped off for spike nights of 33.4 and 42.2 FanDuel points in that span.

Against a Los Angeles Lakers team that has conceded the sixth-most FanDuel points per game to centers over the last 30 games (57.0), Tillman offers a great floor/ceiling combination.

Our model has him scoring 34.2 FanDuel points, which amounts to 6.01 per $1,000.

Delon Wright, PG/SG, Wizards ($5,700)

The Detroit Pistons have been getting torched by point guards, putting Delon Wright on the value radar.

Over the past 30 games, Detroit has been tagged for 53.6 FanDuel points per game by floor generals, the second-most in that time. Yes, please.

Wright has been feasting with Monte Morris -- who is likely out again today -- sidelined. He's played at least 28 minutes in four consecutive games, and he's put up big outings of 53.7 and 39.7 FanDuel points in that time.

In a delightful matchup tonight, Wright can flash his upside once again.
