Giannis Antetokounmpo Under 50.5 Points, Rebounds, and Assists (-115)

The Milwaukee Bucks kick off their 2022-23 season tonight against the Philadelphia 76ers, and both sides are likely eager for a win.

For the Bucks, they were bounced in the playoffs after losing Khris Middleton and having a potential title run derailed. For the 76ers, they lost to the Boston Celtics -- coincidentally, the team that beat Milwaukee in seven games in the semifinals last season -- on opening night 126-117.

An 0-2 start for Philly is far from ideal, and while I don't think any team truly has more or less motivation in October, they might come out firing and throw the kitchen sink at Giannis Antetokounmpo.

numberFire's model is projecting a strong outing from Giannis: 29.8 points, 11.1 rebounds, and 5.5 assists. But even that totals just 46.4 combined points, rebounds, and assists.

That makes the under more than 70% likely to hit as a result, and it just seems like a number set too high for a superstar player on his opening night.

Tyrese Maxey Over 3.5 Assists (+124)

Any time we get a glimpse of value on a plus-money prop, we have to take a look.

numberFire's model projects Tyrese Maxey for 3.5 assists, and that means the over should be around even money -- not +124.

Maxey, in the Sixers' opener, doled out just two helpers but generated 5.0 potential assists.

He averaged 7.6 potential assists last season and 4.3 actual assists per game. After the All-Star break, Maxey's potential assists dipped to 6.3 per game, but he still averaged 3.5 assists per game playing alongside James Harden.

The point being: the plus-money odds are intriguing, and we should be open to Maxey getting four dimes tonight.

Paul George Under 24.5 Points (-108)

Paul George has said that Kawhi Leonard is the number-one in the Los Angeles Clippers' offense, but George may be more of the top option than he anticipated if the Clippers do consider bringing Leonard off the bench.

At the very least, they're going to consider monitoring Leonard's minutes.

Even with that, the value is on the under for George's points prop. It's not like Leonard isn't going to play, and when he's on the floor, George will be the secondary option.

Further, this game features two plus defenses and could see scaled-back scoring as a result.

numberFire's model likes George at just 21.6 points. My model has him at 22.1, so a bit higher -- but still showing value on the under.
