NBA FanDuel Value Plays to Target on Tuesday 3/15/22

One of the keys to finding success in daily fantasy basketball is uncovering potential value plays. If you're looking to roster a stud player or two, you need to consider squeezing in one of these lower-salaried options into your lineup.

Let's take a look at two players who can help fill in the gaps in your lineup.

Andre Drummond, C, Brooklyn Nets ($5,500)

The Brooklyn Nets have a solid matchup versus the Orlando Magic tonight -- and some value options to consider.

A high 232.0-point over/under is always a great place to start. Add in an easy defensive matchup for Andre Drummond, and we have a great value option for the Nets.

This season, the Magic are allowing 56.28 FanDuel points per game to centers, which is the eighth-worst in the league but the worst among the teams on tonight's slate. While Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving take up much of the offensive usage, Drummond has still managed to be productive when among their starting lineup, posting 1.32 FanDuel points per minute.

This is from a smaller sample size due to the Nets' lineup constantly changing but it's a good indication that he's a viable option within their offense. Drummond is projected for 22.04 minutes and 28.8 FanDuel points, making him the second-best value option among centers tonight.

Tyus Jones, PG, Memphis Grizzlies ($4,200)

The easy answer for a value option tonight is Tyus Jones of the Memphis Grizzlies.

With Ja Morant listed as doubtful for tonight's game versus the Indiana Pacers, Jones is expected to jump into the starting lineup. This is a great spot for fantasy production with a slate-high 234.5-point over/under and both teams in the top 12 of the league in offensive pace. When Ja Morant is off the court this season, Jones is producing 0.96 FanDuel points per minute with an 18.0% offensive usage rate. Consistent production from a value player is always great to see but especially when they have an easy matchup as Jones does.

The Pacers are allowing the fifth-most (48.89) FanDuel points per game to point guards this season, making this a clear matchup to attack.

All of this has Jones projected for 29.67 minutes and 30.1 FanDuel points, making him the top overall value option on tonight's four-game slate.
