3 NBA FanDuel Value Plays to Target on Monday 3/7/22

One of the keys to finding success in daily fantasy basketball is uncovering potential value plays. If you're looking to roster a stud player or two, you need to consider squeezing in one of these lower-salaried options into your lineup.

Let's take a look at three players who can help fill in the gaps in your lineup.

Brandon Williams, PG, Portland Trail Blazers ($3,500)

The Portland Trail Blazers are one of a few teams that offer a ton of value tonight.

There is a laundry list of players listed out for Portland tonight, and it should push Brandon Williams into the starting lineup. He played 26 minutes off the bench in their most recent game against the Minnesota Timberwolves, but with Anfernee Simons out tonight, Williams should be the starting point guard. At the minimum salary of $3,500, Williams doesn't have to do a lot in order to reach or exceed value -- something he has done in the last three games playing off the bench.

This game has a very strong 232.5-point over/under and sees the Trail Blazers (18th) playing up in pace against the Timberwolves (3rd), who are one of the fastest teams in the league. This should put Williams in a spot to be one of the most popular players on the entire slate in all formats.

Jordan Poole, PG/SG, Golden State Warriors ($4,700)

With Golden State Warriors set to rest four out of their five starters, they also offer plenty of value options tonight.

Jordan Poole is shaping up to be the starting point guard for the Warriors tonight with Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Andrew Wiggins all listed out. When all of those players are off the court, Poole is carrying a team-high 34.0% offensive usage rate, while producing 1.24 FanDuel points per minute. He will likely be another very chalky option in all formats tonight.

The matchup versus the Denver Nuggets is a good one for point guards since they are allowing the fifth-most (49.02) FanDuel points per game to the position.

A 223.0-point over/under is actually the second-lowest on the slate, but due to the lack of available players for the Warriors, this is a great spot for Poole. He comes in projected for 32.01 minutes and 32.2 FanDuel points, making him the third-best value option on the slate.

Jonathan Kuminga, SF, Golden State Warriors ($4,600)

Jonathan Kuminga is the top projected value option on tonight's slate, so let's talk about it.

Everything noted above with Poole is essentially the same for Kuminga. There's a ton of players out for the Warriors, he's in a solid game environment versus the Nuggets, and he's in for plenty of minutes. Kuminga might not be in the starting lineup for the Warriors, but he's still projected for 33.95 minutes and 32.6 FanDuel, making him the top value option tonight.

We see him producing 1.03 FanDuel points per minute with a 27.0% offensive usage rate when we account for the Warriors' players off the court.

The lack of available players for the Warriors will make Kuminga and Poole some of the most popular players on the slate, who are both among the best-projected value options tonight.
