One of the keys to finding success in daily fantasy basketball is uncovering potential value plays. If you're looking to roster a stud player or two, you need to consider squeezing in one of these lower-priced options into your lineup.

Let's take a look at five players who can help fill in the gaps in your lineup.

D.J. Augustin, PG, Orlando Magic

Elfrid Payton is listed as questionable for tonight, which means D.J. Augustin could log the majority of backcourt minutes for the third-straight game. In his past two games, Augustin is averaging 12.5 points, 3 rebounds, 5 assists, and 2.5 three-pointers in 28.5 minutes off the bench.

Augustin has the third-highest projected value among all point guards tonight and, at a near-minimum salary, may be worthy as a flier.

J.J. Redick, SG, Los Angeles Clippers

The 11th-year veteran J.J. Redick has been blazing hot all season long, as he's attempting (7.8) and converting (3.4) the most number of three-pointers in his career on a per-36-minute basis. Over his last four games, Redick is averaging 21.3 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 3.5 three-pointers in 34.2 minutes.

Because he's projected to score the seventh-highest FanDuel points at his position tonight, he's worth considering as a value play.

Shabazz Muhammad, SF, Minnesota Timberwolves

With high flyer Zach LaVine doubtful to play, Shabazz Muhammad could get a lot more run versus the Houston Rockets, who have the highest pace among teams playing tonight. Over nine games in which Muhammad has logged 20-plus minutes, he is averaging 11.8 points and 3.3 rebounds.

The Minnesota Timberwolves host the Rockets, who offer the third-best matchup to opposing small forwards on Wednesday's slate.

Nerlens Noel, PF, Philadelphia 76ers

Despite a heavily-stacked frontcourt on the Philadelphia 76ers, Nerlens Noel is finding a way to be relevant in a limited role. Over his past five games, Noel is averaging just 20.4 minutes but has put up numbers of 10.4 points, 4 rebounds, and 1.4 steals.

Noel owns the third-highest projected value among all power forwards and could once again produce at an efficient rate.

Kelly Olynyk, C, Boston Celtics

The Boston Celtics are playing the second game of a back-to-back, which could mean more rest for the starters and more minutes for Kelly Olynyk. Olynyk has played well with all-around contributions -- over his past three games, he is averaging 11 points, 4 rebounds, and 3.3 assists.

According to our tools, Olynyk is trending as the hottest player among all centers on Wednesday's slate. He's playing 68.4% above his season average in terms of fantasy points per night over his last five games.
