Nicolas Batum has been hurting for the Charlotte Hornets, missing the last two games. With the veteran wing expected to sit out again on Tuesday, Dwayne Bacon will likely continue his run as a starter for Charlotte tonight.

In the last two games without Batum, Bacon has played over 31 minutes each night. He responded well to the extra playing time too, averaging 15.5 points and 4.0 rebounds for 24.1 FanDuel points. The second-year pro has posted three straight 20-FanDuel point nights as his role in the offense has grown along with his minutes. Bacon has averaged over 10 shots per game in his last three games.

He is also coming off a career-high 20 point night where he sank 5 three-pointers against the Raptors. Those extra looks will do him well as he is in a much better spot against the San Antonio Spurs on Tuesday, who have given up over 0.85 FanDuel points per minute to opposing small forwards and rank 23rd in the league in opponents' three-point percentage (36.1%).
