3 NBA DraftKings Value Plays to Target on 3/8/19

If you're looking at Kris Dunn's $4,900 salary tonight and think it's rather low, you're not wrong. The last time Dunn's salary was below $5,000 when he was playing was all the way back on November 15, 2017.

It's not without reason, however. Dunn hasn't reached even 25.0 DraftKings points in either of his past two games, though he has rebounded from a horrific three-game stretch in mid-February in which he scored 17.0, 15.75, and 12.25 DraftKings points, respectively.

Hopefully a tilt against a familiar foe this evening will get him on track. The Chicago Bulls play hosts to the Detroit Pistons tonight, a team in strong position to make the playoffs. While the matchup will be tough, that shouldn't phase Dunn, who scored 26.75 and 51.5 in his two meetings against them last year.

The Bulls are, remarkably, 6-4 over their past 10 games, quite the feat for a team that doesn't even have 20 wins on the season. They should give the Pistons all they can handle this evening. While our models still like the Pistons to win here, it won't be because Dunn and the Bulls didn't give it their best shot. We project Dunn to finish with29.2 DraftKings points, returning a value of nearly 6.0 points per $1,000.
