Nikola Jokic, C, Denver Nuggets

DraftKings Price: $10,600

The Brooklyn Nets do not like facing opposing centers. They are giving up the third-most DraftKings points per game to the position for the season (and over their past seven games). They should be worried, then, that Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets are coming to town.

Jokic, who is coming off what was perhaps his and the Nuggets' worst game of the season (a 129-103 loss to the Detroit Pistons), has been having an incredible year. His 20.1 points and 1.4 steals per game are personal bests, but his most astounding contribution has been as a distributor.

His 7.7 assists per game rank sixth in the league (the next closest center is Marc Gasol, who ranks 32nd with 4.7) and represent the third-best ever mark for a center. It should be noted that while Wilt Chamberlain averaged 8.6 and 7.8 assists in the 1967-68 and 1966-67 seasons, respectively, he did so in 46.8 and 45.4 minutes per game, compared to Jokic's 31.3. It's not hyperbole to say that Jokic is the most efficient passing center the league has ever seen.

He's scored 72.75 and 74.5 DraftKings points in his past two games against the Nets. While we don't have him projected for those lofty heights tonight (we project him for 51.7), don't count it out.
