Kelly Oubre Jr., SG/SF, Phoenix Suns

DraftKings Price: $5,600

The City of Lawrence, Kansas was burned to the ground on August 21, 1863 by a band of Confederate raiders led by the infamous William Quantrill. The home of the Kansas Jayhawks rebuilt, of course, and it's no coincidence that the city's seal includes the image of a phoenix rising from the flames of a burning building.

Perhaps it's appropriate then that a former Jayhawk is finding his own rebirth in the Arizona desert. Kelly Oubre, who joined the Phoenix Suns via a trade from the Washington Wizards in December, is playing the best basketball of his career for his new team, and it's only getting better as he spends more time with his teammates.

The fourth-year player is putting up 14.6 points per game with the Suns, 1.7 more than he was averaging with the Wizards, despite playing just 0.7 more minutes per game. Over his past nine games, that average has jumped to 19.2, and his fantasy production has jumped with it.

Oubre has put up 30.0 or more DraftKings points in six out of his past nine games (and to point out how numbers can sometimes deceive, he missed out on that arbitrary 30.0 number by 0.25 points in one game), including a 45.5-point effort in last night's blowout loss to the Portland Trail Blazers.

With T.J. Warren out for two-to-three weeks, Oubre will continue to see a ton of run, whether it comes from off then bench or in a starting role. He's played the Denver Nuggets twice this season, putting up an average of 35.0 points, which, remarkably, have come in just 21.1 minutes per game. We have him projected for 23.1 DraftKings points tonight with upside for 47.2.
