3 NBA DraftKings Value Plays to Target on 1/8/19

Well, one good thing for Cleveland Cavaliers fans is that their team can't get much worse. After losing their two biggest stars to Los Angeles and to injury, the Cavs have struggled to get much of anything going in 2018-19. They enter tonight's contest against the Indiana Pacers at just 8-32.

Not only is their record the worst in the league, but only the Chicago Bulls have averaged fewer points per game. Of course, records aren't of the utmost importance to daily fantasy players. Opportunity is, however, and the more players who are missing means more minutes for guys like Alec Burks.

Burks, who came over from the Utah Jazz in late November, has benefited from the absence of Rodney Hood, who has missed several games of late with a sore Achilles' heel. Hood has already been ruled out for tonight, which once again means Burk should see solid run. He's seen at least 30 minutes in four out of his past five contests, scoring a minimum of 23.25 DraftKings points in each of those four.

We have him projected for just 20.0 DraftKings points with upside for 43.0 if he can put it all together against the Pacers this evening.
