San Antonio Spurs coach Gregg Popovich does not think Rudy Gay's chances of playing tonight are very good. If he's out again with a wrist injury, then one of the players on the Spurs who stands to benefit the most is Davis Bertans.

When Gay was out on Monday against the Boston Celtics, Bertans stepped up and played 30-plus minutes, the most court time he's seen in a game this season. He finished with 17 points, 5 boards, and 25.0 FanDuel points in a 120-111 win.

Bertans' numbers aren't otherworldly when Gay is out; he is averaging an underwhelming 0.78 FanDuel points per minute in the split. Even so, at that rate, he'd need just under 26 minutes of run in order to hit 20.0 FanDuel points and a value of 5.0 FanDuel points per $1,000.

Our models currently project Bertans to finish with just 14.4 FanDuel points, but we're still assuming Gay plays. If Gay is out, as Pop indicates, then expect those projections to rise. Check back later in the day for updated projections.
