3 NBA DraftKings Value Plays to Target on 11/9/18

Denver Nuggets backup center Mason Plumlee is almost never a player who you want to plug into your cash lineups. While his minutes are generally constant in the 17-to-22 minute range, there has been a striking difference in his performances when he crosses that 20-minute barrier.

In the four games he's played at least 20 minutes, he's scored a minimum of 23.0 DraftKings points and is averaging 1.19 DraftKings points per minute. In the seven games he's seen less run, he's averaging just 15.1 DraftKings points and 0.96 per minute.

While it's hard to predict the level of minutes he'll get, there is a good chance he'll once again cross that threshold tonight. The Nuggets are 9.5-points favorites at home against the Brooklyn Nets, making them the biggest favorite on the slate. This is one reason that works in his favor for more minutes. The other is Paul Millsap's health.

Millsap is probable for tonight, though he could still be slowed down due to ankle soreness. He played only 20 minutes against the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday, two fewer than Plumlee. That workload split could easily happen here again.

Plumlee is boom or bust, but he's in a good spot tonight to easily pay off his $3,800 salary.
